Welcome to IAPBS

IAPBS (Indian Association of Professional Background Screeners) is formed as an umbrella organization representing the professional background screening industry in India.

IAPBS is being registered under the Charity Commissioner’s Offices as a non-profit association.

The main objectives of the association are:

1. Spread awareness & promote the importance of background screening services across stakeholders. (clients & end-users, universities, regulatory bodies, law-enforcement agencies and industry associations)

2. Create and establish "best practices" in the area of professional background screening.

3. Formulate and enforce minimum threshold standards for background screening service providers.

4. Be the single source to represent the voice of the industry.

5. Host seminars and trade shows to encourage collaboration between the stakeholders for the growth of the industry.
